OSSSPORE TCP-HA

Osspore Synthetic Bone fillers Calcium Hydroxyapitite (HA) is a major component of the mineral phase of human bones and teeth. Its chemical composition similar to the chemical phase of bone tissues, it is a biocompatible osteoconductive material . HA provides a stable Mico porous scaff old for cell adhesion while ß-TCP, more soluble and with fast bio-reactivity, enhances the fast ingrowth of bone regenerative cells. The calcium and phosphate ions released, stimulates the formation of bone s. This speci c biphasic composition provides optimum performances in regeneration of bone. The interconnected macropores and micropores provides porosity of over 70%, similar to cancellous bone. The total surface is filled by migrating body own cells. Tthe material is resorbed and replaced bone fresh bone. The interconnected macropores and micropores provides porosity of over 70%, similar to cancellous bone. Two different ratio available of Synthetic Bone Fillers
60/40 (60% slow resorbing Hydroxyapatite and 40% highly soluble Tricalciumphosphate) can be used for all bone augmentations in the oral cavity. The HA is granting a long term volume stability of the graft, the TCP is triggering the new bone formation. We suggest for bigger defect to mix with autologous bone.

25/75 (20% slow resorbing Hydroxyapatite and 75% highly soluble Tricalciumphosphate) can be used in cases when fast new bone formation is wished in smaller defects, e.g. in single tooth alveolar ridge defects or Sinus Lifts. Smaller defects normally do not require to mix wi
